CheetahWatch ties up system
Reported by Peter | May 4th, 2010 @ 08:32 AM
When I open CheetahWatch 1.3.2 (56) it jambs up my MacBook. Shows continuous 89 - 100% and more in the Activity monitor. I have to close CheetahWatch. I'm hoping there's a fix because it's a very handy program.
I'm using it with a K3520 USB Mobile Broadband stick from
Vodafone (Australia) which may be the problem?
I use the Vodafone downloaded application to connect to the
Internet, and when I open CheetahWatch the Vodafone application
stops responding and I have to Force Quit it.
Mac OS X Version 10.6.3
2.13 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
2 GB MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Cheers,
Peter.

This little mac app provides you with signal strength, network mode (GRPS/WCDMA/HSDPA), network name control over your connection, and statistics about your current connection (current throughput, total data transferred, connection time). It does this through a little icon in your menu bar (and a bigger window, if you want to see it), and also helps you keep track of your usage - no need for a nasty surprise from your provider.
