Carrier name E-plus not displayed correctly
Reported by Horstbert | August 30th, 2009 @ 08:06 PM
Hey,
i've been using CheetahWatch for a while now here in Germany and was always very happy with it. However, since I updated to Snow Leopard yesterday, it simply won't start up anymore! Just wanted to inform you, hopefully this is an re-produceable, easy fixable issue! Oh yeah - Another thing bugging me since ever but which I never considered important enough to create a ticket for: Instead of my carrier's name (E-Plus), CheetahWatch only displays "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF". At least it did on !0.5... ;)
Thanks for your effort, keep up the good work!
Thorben

- Title changed from CheetahWatch doesn't start on 10.6 to Carrier name E-plus not displayed correctly
First part is a duplicate of bug #20.
Changed title accordingly.

This little mac app provides you with signal strength, network mode (GRPS/WCDMA/HSDPA), network name control over your connection, and statistics about your current connection (current throughput, total data transferred, connection time). It does this through a little icon in your menu bar (and a bigger window, if you want to see it), and also helps you keep track of your usage - no need for a nasty surprise from your provider.
